Introduction

Have you been dreaming about a cool new chorus unit for your setup? Take

a look at Rocktron’s awesome Dreamstar Chorus!

Part of the Rocktron Boutique Series of stomp boxes this pedal design comes

in a rugged metal chassis with eye popping retro custom design laser etched

artwork. This is a TRUE BYPASS pedal: when you turn it off…it is out of

your signal path!

The Dreamstar Chorus provides two independent chorus voice sections with

separate LFO Modulators, making this one sweet chorus pedal!

Chorus Voice One offers three controls called Rate 1, Depth 1 and Dream

1. Rate 1 controls the speed of the LFO waveform used to modulate delay

analog BBD delay line. Depth 1 determines the LFO’s maximum travel time

and intensity. Dream 1 controls the amount of effect present in the summed

output.

Chorus Voice Two offers three controls called Rate 2, Depth 2 and Dream

2. Rate 2 controls the speed of the LFO waveform used to modulate delay

analog BBD delay line. Depth 2 determines the LFO’s maximum travel

time and intensity. Dream 2 controls the amount of the effect present in

summed output.

Chorus pedals usually sound best when placed after distortion in the signal

chain. Thus, if you are using multiple stomp boxes, place the Dreamstar

Chorus after your distortion. If using a variety of pedals, such as delays and

other modulation effects, try the Dreamstar in different parts of the signal

chain until you find the sound you like best.

If you have an effects loop in your amplifier, try putting the chorus in the ef-

fects loop for a different sound; (just follow the instructions in your amplifier

manual when connecting to your effects loop).

The footswitch on the Dreamstar Chorus controls On/Off status (indicated by

the LED). This stomp box runs on a 9V Alkaline battery. You may also use

the Rocktron DC OnTap Universal Power Adaptor.
