FORD POLICE INTERCEPTOR PLUG IN FLASHER

(2006+ Vehicles)

Not for use with 2005 or older vehicles!

The FM6905 headlight flasher is designed to work on 2006 or newer Ford Crown
Victoria vehicle that are equipped with the Police Interceptor Package.

A properly installed FM6905 Flasher will flash the vehicle's high beam lights. When used
at night, the low beam headlights will remain ON for proper illumination while the high
beams will flash to gain attention and increase the vehicle's visibility. When the dimmer
switch is activated to high beam, the Flasher System "High Beam Override" interrupts the
Flasher sequence to allow for normal high beam function. Flashing automatically
resumes when the dimmer switch is deactivated. Any time the vehicle is running, the
Flasher will automatically turn OFF the vehicle's DRL when the Flasher is activated.

PLEASE NOTE

Flashing Headlight and Taillight Systems are intended for use on approved vehicles
ONLY. It is the responsibility of the user of these systems to ensure compliance to any
Federal, State, or Municipal regulations that may apply.

CAUTION:

This flasher unit is designed for use on headlights totaling a maximum of
130 watts each side (9.5 amps per side).

PLEASE NOTE: This unit will not work on vehicles with ground side switched headlights.

Mount the headlight flasher unit in a well ventilated area, typically close to the battery
at the front of the engine compartment, on a metal surface for maximum heat
dissipation.

Although the flasher is water resistant, to ensure many years of trouble free operation,
the flasher should be mounted in an area that is not exposed directly to water spray
and high temperatures.
