SETTING UP MULTIPLE PARTITIONS
1. <TAB> to the Menu (left) side of the screen and press <ENTER>.
2. Enter password (default password = 00000000).
3. Partition configuration:
a. Use keys to select RAID PARAMS. Press <ENTER>.
b. Select Array x (x=desired array) and press <ENTER>.
c. Select Reconfig-RAID and press <ENTER>.
Select Yes and press <ENTER>.
d. Arrow down and select Slice. Press <ENTER>.
NOTE: If creating a RAID array larger than 2TB in total capacity, two (2)
partitions will be created. If equal partitions are desired, change
Slice 01 to capacity = 0GB. Once Slice 01 capacity is changed,
change Slice 00 to desired capacity. Proceed to "Step e".
e. Select Slice 0 and press <ENTER>.
Enter desired slice (partition) capacity and press <ENTER>.
If new partition/slice is smaller than default partition/slice, clear any remaining
numbers by pressing <SPACEBAR>.
NOTE: Remaining capacity will be added to Slice 1 as a second partition.
Confirm the partition size by reentering the number displayed in
Slice 1 and press <ENTER>.
f . If three (3) or more partitions are desired, repeat Step e for last created slice.
NOTE: Changing last slice to desired capacity will result in remaining
capacity being added to an additional slice.
g. Press <ESC> three times.
