INSTALLING FIREPLACE HOOD
AND SCREEN
1. Mount screen rod brackets on left and right
side of smoke shelf with #8 x 1/2" screws
provided (see Figure 27, page
29 ).
2. Slide round end of screen rod into rings
at top of screen. Attach one push-on nut
to end of rod before attaching last ring of
screen.
3. Insert round end of rod into rod bracket
on left side of fireplace.
4. Mount flat end of screen rod with #10 x 5/8"
to center of smoke shelf (see Figure 26).
5. Install other screen rod in same manner.

Installation
To install glass door frame, construct an
opening (see table) on the front face of the
fireplace. Insert door frame into face opening
and tighten screws (see Figure 28).

IMPORTANT: Install glass door
frame before installing glass
door.

Assembly
Insert L-shaped gussets starting at the left top
portion of door frame. Gusset holes should
align with screw holes on the frame. Secure
using flat head screws.
