To complete and confirm installation:
1. Reconnect the power cable and any other cables to the SC48.
2. Make sure that all amps or speakers connected to your console are muted or
turned off, then power up the SC48.
3. The Dugan-VN16 card displays as a blank panel on the Options > Devices page.
NOTE:
The Dugan-VN16 card appears as a blank panel and is not identified in the Patchbay,
even when properly installed using VENUE software version 3.0. Visit the Avid website
(www.avid.com) to check for upgrades to your VENUE software.
The Dugan-VN16 inputs and outputs are available in the
FOH
tab in Patchbay.
•
Dugan-VN16 inputs and outputs 1–8 appear as AES 1–8.
•
Dugan-VN16 inputs and outputs 9–16 appear as Analog 9–16.
Note that these patch points will appear as gray in Patchbay, however it is now
possible to patch the Dugan-VN16 to the required channels.
