Installing SSF
This section describes installing SSF on external PC.
Note: Make sure that Linux OS is already installed on the external PC before installing SSF.
1. Login as root.
2. Copy the tar ball RunSSFonLinuxPC_<version>_i686.tar.gz to the external Linux
PC.
3. Untar the package using the command
$ tar zxvf RunSSFonLinuxPC_<version>_i686.tar.gz
4. The RunssfonLinuxPC.sh script checks the existing system and it provides two
options for platform preparation and installing SSF core.
5. Change the directory to RunSSFonLinuxPC_<version>_i686
$ cd RunSSFonLinuxPC_<version>_i686
6. Run the script to install the SSF RPMs:
$ sh RunSSFonLinuxPC.sh install
