Code 39
Code 39 was the first alphanumeric code to be developed. Code 39 derives
its name from the number of characters it was originally able to encode: 39.
Today, the number of characters has been extended to over 43.

Alphanumeric (0 to 9, 26 letters without umlauts, 7 special characters)

Bar code count fields in Jetmark have a maximum length of 14 places
