This manual applies only if you have purchased the international
fonts for your printer.
The fonts described in this manual were designed to be used with
any Monarch® 9800
 series printer. Be sure you understand the
information in the Packet Reference Manual before you read this
manual.
A b o u t t h i s M a n u a l
This manual provides the information you need to use any one of
the predefined fonts on your labels. This manual includes print
samples for each font family.
For information on incorporating these fonts into your label
designs, see the Packet Reference Manual. A sample format
using an international font is shown in Appendix A, "Sample
Formats."
If you wish to use a combination of fonts other than those
described in this manual, contact your Monarch Sales
Representative.
D o w n l o a d i n g F o n t s
The international fonts are available on one diskette. You must
download the fonts to the printer before you can use them.
Before you download fonts, you must reconfigure the
printer’s memory. Refer to the Packet Reference
Manual for more information.
