Warning: Do not make any changes to the Bébé
Confort Rubi whatsoever, as this could lead to
unsafe situations.
Bébé Confort Rubi general instructions
1. You are personally responsible for the safety
of your child at all times.
2. Never hold your child on your lap when
driving.
3. The Bébé Confort Rubi is intended for car use
only.
4. Do not use second-hand products whose
history is unknown.
5. Replace the Bébé Confort Rubi after an
accident.
6. Read this instruction manual carefully.
Bébé Confort Rubi in the car
Warning: Correct fitting of the car seat belt is
essential for the safety of your child. The car seat
belt must be installed following the red parts of
the Bébé Confort Rubi. NEVER fit the car seat belt
in a way other than described.
Warning: The Bébé Confort Rubi must only be
installed in the car in a forward-facing position.
Warning: Remove the headrest of the seat where
the Bébé Confort Rubi is to be used in the car if it
is in the way. Do not forget to put the headrest
back when the seat is used again.
1. Use the Bébé Confort Rubi only on a
forward-facing seat that is fitted with an
automatic or static 3-point belt that has been
approved according to the ECE R16 standard
or similar. Do NOT use a 2-point belt.
2. Verify that the car seat can be installed
properly in your car before purchasing it.
3. Press the Bébé Confort Rubi firmly in the seat
before securing the car seat belt with the lock
off. Doing so improves stability.
4. Always fully install the Bébé Confort Rubi with
the car seat belt, even if there is no child in it.
5. Deactivate the airbag if using the Bébé
Confort Rubi on the front passenger seat. If
