The transmit and receive levels diagram is to ensure that the proper gains and
attenuations in the TX and RX paths are recorded for future use in
troubleshooting.

Procedure
Connect a modem at the beginning of the Tx path. Generate a CW, making sure not
to exceed the EIRP in the earth station so the satellite won’t be saturated.
Measure and record the levels of the CW across the Tx path as specified in the
following diagram.
