Replacing the micro filters

After replacing approx. 5 pcs of dust filters it is necessary to clean the micro filters or

replace them by new ones in case of visible damage. Dispose of used dust filters and

micro filters with common house waste. We recommend to replace the exhaust HEPA

micro filter at least once a year (according to amount of dirt).

Suction micro filter

Pull out the cassette

E with micro filter in the suction space (pic. 22). Open the cassette,

clean the

E1 micro filter in running lukewarm water and let dry thoroughly (pic. 23). After

drying, insert the micro filter back into the cassette, close it, put it back behind the two

protrusions and slide it all the way into the suction space of the vacuum cleaner.

Exhaust HEPA micro filter

Remove the cover of the vacuum cleaner by pulling by the two protrusions in the bottom

part of the exhaust cover

A11 (pic. 21). Pull out the cassette A12. Tap the dust out of

the filter over a dustbin or to clean the filter through a blowing (we recommend the filter

cleaning outside of living area for hygiene reasons). If the protection micro filter is very

dirty, you can also rinse the pleated side of the HEPA filter under lukewarm slow-running

tap. Hold the filter in such a way that the pleated side points upwards and the water flows

parallel to the pleats. Hold the filter at an angle so that the water washes away the dirt

inside the pleats. Turn the filter 180° and let the water flow along the pleats in the opposite

direction. Continue this process until the filter is clean. When all the parts have dried,

assemble them back.

ATTENTION

– The maximum suction effect will be reached with a clean filter and an dust filter.

– Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or hot water to clean the HEPA micro filter or

foam filter.

– Cleaning of the filter will not restore its original colour but it will restore its filtration

functions.

– Neglecting the replacement of the micro filters may lead to failure of the vacuum

cleaner!

– The HEPA filter and the micro-filters are not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher.

– We recommend replacing the HEPA filter twice a year. Replace the other micro-filters

if they cannot be cleaned properly or if they are damaged. You can buy a replacement

dust filter, a HEPA filter and a micro-filter in the elektro shop chain.

– The HEPA filter and the micro-filters are not intended for cleaning in a dishwasher.
