performing maintenance.

CAUTION!

Do not put hands or feet under the mower while the motor
is running. The blade is in motion when the motor is running.
11- Cut lawns only in good lighting conditions.
12- Do not run. Do not be influenced by eagerness to finish a
job. Keep at a pace suited to the type of work to be performed.
13- Do not use the lawn mower when it is not in good condition.
Repair before use.
14- Do not allow use of your mower by any person unless
you have provided precise instructions and they have read
this manual.
15- Never push the lawn mower backward (towards the
operator).
16- When cutting on slopes, always proceed crossways and
never from the top to the bottom or vice versa. Pay particular
attention when changing direction. Do not cut on very steep
land.
17- Always switch off the motor when not cutting or when
crossing a side walk, a street or a road.
18- In the event that you hit an obstacle, stop the motor,
disconnect the spark plug wire and check if there has been
any damage. Repair any damage before restarting and
operating the mower. If damage is severe, contact your
nearest IBEA dealer.

Read these instructions carefully and make sure you
understand them before operating the unit. Follow all warnings
and safety instructions. Store this book for future reference.

1- Adapt your speed to the conditions of the grass. Adjust
motor speed to maximum when grass is low and to minimum
when it is higt and thick .
2- Use of the lawn mower is prohibited to persons less than
16 years of age.
3- The operator is responsible for third parties in the work
area. Make sure there are no children or pets in the work
area.
4- Before starting work, inspect the area to be treated and
remove all stones, any cans or other foreign objects present.
Also check where they any sprinklers are placed and for any
other hidden obstacles that can create hazards during cutting.
5- Use sturdy, closed shoes during cutting. Do not use sandals
and do not cut with bare feet. Use shoes that have a good
grip even when the ground is wet. Use working gloves for a
firmer grip.
6- Before mowing, make sure that the blade is tightly fastened
and that safety guards have been mounted. If defects are
found, replace or repair.
7- Do not add fuel when you are in an enclosed area, when
the motor is running or when the motor is still warm. Smo-
king is prohibited when refuelling.
8- Do not operate the mower indoors. Exhaust gases emitted
by the motor are poisonous if inhaled and can be asphyxiating
and, therefore, fatal.
9- Do not adjust the cutting height when the motor is running.
