8. Finish the wall around the plaster guard using the marking to confirm proper rough depth.
9. Once surrounding wall is finished remove the plaster guard.
10. Slide the backplate (A) around the cartridge and up against the wall. Use a bead of silicone to seal to
the wall.
11. Loosen the set screw (C) in the handle and slide the handle (B) onto the mixing cartridge stem. Then tighten
the set screw and install the finished cap (D) by pressing into the hole.
