phone will continue to dial the next Emergency number in sequence.

If the called party answers the call, presses 0 to talk and decides that
they can assist, they should press 1 & 2 before hanging up. This will stop
the Emergency dialing process and no additional Emergency numbers
will be dialed.

Emergency dialing can be activated two ways:

1. Pushing the pendant button.

2. Pushing the SOS button on the keypad.

An alarm will sound for 15 seconds when either of these buttons is
activated. After 15 seconds (if no one responds internally) the phone will
start dialing the Emergency numbers.

When the Emergency situation has been handled and the situation is
under control, the phone must be hung-up by the user manually. This can
be done by pressing the remote button on the pendant or by pressing the
SOS button on the phone. This resets the phone to normally answer calls,
and be ready for the next Emergency situation.

Issues with false dialing or alarm activation? If you have had a situation
where the PT3802 has started dialing randomly or had the Emergency
alarm sound without being activated, it’s very likely the result of external
interference, possibly caused by microwave ovens, wireless internet router,
car remote controls, garage door openers, or similar devices. If this occurs,
there are 2 procedures to attempt to prevent this from reoccurring. Please
follow the procedures below to clear the pendant memory or to reset the
phones internal memory and re-pair the pendant with the telephone.

WARNING: The second procedure will clear all Caller ID and Stored

Numbers in the phone’s memory, as well as any paired pendant(s).

To clear the pendant(s) from memory:

1. Press the

MENU

button and use the e or d buttons until

REMOTE

PENDANT

is shown.

2. Press the

“OK” (CALL BACK/OK)

button.
