Incoming call indicator (top right corner) won’t stop
flashing?
There are two LED lights located in the lens. One light is for Ringer
indicator and the other is for Caller ID new call indicator.
1. Ringer LED will keep flashing during an incoming call and then stop
flashing.
2. New Call LED will keep flashing until all new calls are viewed or deleted
on the LCD display. This light acts as a reminder that calls have been
received. Once the calls have been reviewed the light will stop flashing.
Review missed calls by using the e or d buttons.
Talking Caller Id
1. VOICE feature has to be turned on from the options in the main menu.
a. Press the MENU button and use the e or d buttons until VOICE is
shown.
b. Confirm your selection with the
“OK”
button.
c. VOICE {LANGUAGE} * will display on the screen. The * denotes the
current setting.
d. Use the e or d buttons to select desired language (options are
English, French, Spanish, Italian or OFF). One of the languages must
be selected in order to announce incoming calls.
e. Confirm your selection with the “OK” button.
f. The screen will display the next option in the main menu. Press
DELETE
to exit to the main screen.
2. Spoken names will only be announced if previously recorded in the
Phonebook if/when the phone number was stored by the user.
3. Phone numbers will be announced once by the phone and then will ring
normally until the call is picked up or hung up by the user, or until the
answering machine picks up the call.
