4.3.7 Recheck chain tension and adjust if required.

4.4 – CUTTING 18” PIPE DIAMETER AND LARGER
The following the procedure for installation of the Guide Strip
4.4.1 Check the area 8” to 18” (203-457mm) away from the cut line where the Mini guide strip will fit on
the pipe for concave or convex areas in the pipe surface. Remove as much of the deformity that is
allowed by the welding specification.
Note: See instructions for the installations of the guide track if the pipe is spiral welded, excessively
out of round or is in the vertical position.
