DIMENSIONS OF HOT AIR OUTLET DECORATIVE GRILLE WITH ELBOW
The safety rules and installation procedures for both hot air gravity distribution kits (AC01375,
AC01385) are the following:
Minimum height*: 68" (1.7 m)
Minimum distance from ceiling: 12’’ (30 cm)
Maximum length:
10' (3m)
*The minimum height of the hot air ducting must be measured from the floor to the top of the hot
air grilles.
The hot air grilles can be installed in the same room as the fireplace, or one or both of the grilles
can be installed in adjacent or upper rooms. Installing the ducts at different elevations will tend to
exhaust more heat out of the higher grilles.
