Preparing the Camera
Charging the Battery Pack
Use the following procedures to charge the battery pack the first time you
use the camera or when the “Change the battery pack” message displays.
1 Insert the battery pack into the
battery charger.
Align the battery pack according to the
arrows on the battery and the charger.
Insert the battery securely.
2 Battery charger model names and types
vary by region.
(For CB-2LU)
Plug the battery charger into a
power outlet.
(For CB-2LUE)
Attach the power cord to the battery
charger and plug it into a power outlet.
• The charge indicator will light red while
the battery pack is charging. It will change
to green when the charge is complete.
• After charging, immediately unplug the
battery charger and remove the battery
pack.
