Choose a flat location to

roll out the hull and

check the area for sharp

objects that may dam-

age it. Remove the boat

from its bag and roll it

out when the area is

ready.

Floorboards

Push the floorboards

into position. The boat

may be very stiff when

first opened making the

floorboards difficult to

install. Open the valves

to allow some air to

move inside. Adding

some air to the cham-

bers may help too.

The floorboards should

overlap in the middle.

As a precaution, put the

valve caps in the valve

to prevent them from

being accidentally

pulled off by the floor-

boards.

Place the long strut onto

the edge of one board.

Lift the boards from the

middle and insert the

edge of the other board

into the strut. Press

down until fully seated.

This step is best done

with two people.

Insert the side struts.

If any of the side mate-

rial is under the floor-

boards, it must be

pulled out. Straddle the

boat and hold the board

down with one foot

while pulling up on the

side of the boat.

Motor Mount

(Optional)

Install the motor mount

by inserting the lower

pegs into the mounting

pads.

Then work the upper

pads into their mounts.

You may find it neces-

sary to partially inflate

the boat to make instal-

lation easier. If so, skip

to the next step and

come back to the motor

mount.

Inflation

Close the valves. Twist

the valve stem clock-

wise and allow the stem

to pop up. This will

close the valve for infla-

tion.
