4. Remove the access panel from the computer.
Installing the Access Panel
1. Place the access panel to align with the screw holes at the back of the computer.
2. Tighten the screws to secure the access panel to the computer.
3. Install the
battery .
4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your computer .
Removing the Hard Drive
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
2. Remove:
a. battery
b. access panel
3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
a. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board and lift it up to remove it from the
computer [1,2].
