AUDIO OUT
jacks

Connect an analog sound system to these jacks
to play the TV audio through the sound system.
For more information, see “Connecting an analog
(stereo) sound system” on page 10.

COMP IN2
jacks

Connect component video devices to these
jacks. For more information, see “Connecting a
component video device”
on page 8. There are
additional component jacks on the side panel.

HDMI2,
HDMI3,
and
HDMI4
jacks

Connect an HDMI device to these jacks. For more
information, see “Connecting an HDMI device
on page 8. There is an additional HDMI jack on
the side panel.

DIGITAL
OUTPUT
jack

Connect a digital coaxial cable to this jack, then
to a digital sound system. For more information,
see “Connecting using a digital audio cable” on
page 10.

AV IN2 jacks

Connect a standard AV device, such as a
camcorder or game console, to these jacks. There
are additional AV IN jacks on the side panel.

(headphone)
jack

Plug headphones into this jack. For more
information, see “Connecting headphones” on
page 10.

ANT/CABLE
jack

Connect an antenna or cable TV to this jack. For
more information, see “Connecting an antenna,
cable TV, or satellite TV box”
on page 9.

COMP IN1
jacks

Connect component video devices to these
jacks. For more information, see “Connecting a
component video device” on
page 8.

AV IN1 jacks

Connect a standard AV device, such as a
camcorder or game console, to these jacks. There
are additional AV IN jacks on the back of the TV.

VGA IN jack

Connect a computer (video) to this jack. For more
information, see “Connecting a computer” on
page 9.

PC/DVI
AUDIO IN
jack

Connect a computer (audio) to this jack. For more
information, see “Connecting a computer” on
page 9.

HDMI1 jack

Connect an HDMI device to this jack. For more
information, see “Connecting an HDMI device
on page 8. There are additional HDMI jacks on
the back of the TV.

POWER

Press to turn on the TV or put the TV in standby
mode.
Caution: The TV continues to receive power
even in standby mode. Unplug the power cord
to disconnect power.

COMP

Press repeatedly to select a device connected
to the COMP IN jacks.

VIDEO

Press repeatedly to select a device connected
to the AV IN jacks.

ZOOM

Press to select the video display format. For
more information, see “To adjust the picture:”
on page 13.

GUIDE

Press to open the DTV program guide (if
available) when viewing digital channels. For
more information, see “Displaying program
information” on page 12
.

VOL

/

VOL

Press to increase or decrease the volume.

MENU

Press to open the on-screen menu.

Press to move up, down, left, or right in
on-screen menus or to adjust menu settings.

ENTER

Press to confirm selections in on-screen menus
or to open sub-menus.
