pole sleeve. Pass the pointed end through the me-
tal loop and pull the loose end of the woven band
tight so that the pole sits snugly in the sleeve (C).

6. Insert the pointed end fi rmly into the ground

where it currently is (D). Tense the rods by pulling
the guy rope (D1). Use the Y-peg to do this. The end
of the rod must not be at an angle to the fl oor of
more than 80° - danger of breakage! (D2).

7. Place the pins at the head and foot end of the tent

and anchor them with a peg. Towards the outside
the pin should be at an angle of 15° in order to be
able to mount the outer tent perfectly (E).

8. Peg down the side with the entrance.
9. Additional anchoring option for the apsis using a

trekking pole (F).

TAKE DOWN – GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove everything from the tent’s interior.

Freestanding tents can be gently shaken out to
remove leaves, sand, and other debris.

Turn the tent over with fl oor facing upward and
allow it to dry a bit longer.

If it’s not possible to dry the tent completely before
packing it, this should be done within 12 hours to
prevent the risk of mold and mildew growth.

As in the tent set up, never pull the poles out of the
pole sleeves; rather push them through.

When storing a tent in its stuff sack, make sure that
stakes and poles don’t press against the tent fabric
and damage it.

Before taking down your tent, close all zips and
roll up the guy lines. That way you won’t have to
untangle them when it comes time to set the tent
up again, and pitching is that much easier.

DISMANTLING – “MODEL-SPECIFIC”:

1. Disconnect the poles from the base and let the tent

fold in on itself.

2. Push the poles out of the sleeves (do not pull).
3. Fold up the poles and roll them up with the tent, if

possible. Do not force the poles into the storage
bag if it is full, as this may result in damage to the
storage bag or tent.
