External MIDI Control

Nearly every control in the

BASiS

interface can be controlled from an external MIDI

source such as a knob or slider on a controller keyboard. The chart below details a
comprehensive list of which MIDI continuous controller (CC) controls which

BASiS

parameter. For controls which are on/off toggles, sending a value from 0 to 63 sends
the "off" signal, while sending a value from 64 to 127 sends the "on" signal.

CC #20: Vibrato Speed
CC #21: Vibrato Type
CC #22: Velocity Scaling
CC #23: Pitchbend Range
CC #24: DI/Amp Morphing
CC #25: Pick Noise Volume (Glide % for Synth Basses)
CC #26: Fret Noise Volume
CC #27: Release Noise Volume
CC #28: 0 to 63: Humanize off

64 to 127: Humanize on

CC #29: 0 to 63: No action

64 to 127: Restart Engine
