Avenue Logo HD Application

The following are brief definitions of what each of the buttons of the Main Window are used for:

• New - Starts a new Project.

• Load - Loads an existing Project.

• Assets - Adds logos, images, animations and sound clips to your Project.

• Seq - Associates images with audio clips in specified sequences.

• Events - Sets up transitions for Assets and assigns Keyer 1 or 2. Selects serial protocols or GPIs

for each Event.

• Preview - Previews the final Project within the Avenue Logo HD application. You can preview

the cut and mix behavior for Keyer 1 and Keyer 2 and adjust the transition rate. You can also
click and drag Assets to change their X and Y position and adjust their density.

• Output - Processes and copies the final Project to the SD Card connected to your PC.

In addition, there are several controls at the bottom of this window that display memory management
for the current Project in a “gas gauge”-style format. As you work on your Project, the bar indicators
will show the percentage of memory space available in the Secure Digital Card memory where the
logos are stored.

Note:

Secure digital memory cards must be formatted for FAT32 file structure.

SD/Memory Size - Use this to select the size in megabytes of the Secure Digital (SD) card that you are
using with your system. The 7420 module includes one 512 MB Secure Digital Memory Card. SD cards
of up to 2 GB are supported.

Before Compression - Indicates the total size in megabytes of all Assets in the current Project.

After Compression - Indicates the total size in megabytes of all Assets in the current Project after
they are compressed by clicking the Process Images button. The amount of memory used after
compression must be less than or equal to the size of the secure digital card you are using with your
system. Memory cards of up to 2 GB are supported. Lossless compression is used and no data is lost in
this process.

Process - Processes the Assets in the current Project in three ways:

1. Compression - Compresses images using run-length encoding, a lossless type of image

compression. No data is lost from this process.
