Removing Hold-downs
There are two hold-down brackets located in the circuit board area that must be
removed in order to remove and replace circuit boards, the fan tray, and the power
supply shield. Figure 4 shows these brackets.
To remove the hold-down brackets:
1. Use the Torx tool with the T10 tip to remove the screw (

in Figure 4) which
secures the rear hold-down bracket.
2. Lift the hold-down bracket (

in Figure 4) up and out of the chassis and set
it aside.
3. Use the Torx tool with the T10 tip to remove the screw (

in Figure 4)
which secures the front hold-down bracket.
4. Lift the hold-down bracket (

in Figure 4) up and out of the chassis and set
it aside.
