Prompter Controller SSC-2000
utilize the capability of the C and D positions outlined on page 1 of
Appendix B, the second Prompter Controller will be located at the off-line
control surface and both units will be wired as shown in
Figure 27 below.
Note C & D modes of operation require Y communication cables that are not
included with the XSWITCH. For C & D operation, the customer is responsible
for Y communication cable fabrication.

Operationally in the A position, the prompting is controlled by the On-Line
Control Surface Prompter Controller which is connected to the A system.
The Dual Serial Card is in the A position as shown in
Figure 28 below.
