Clutch
Lubricate Clutch Lever
1. Remove right side cover.
2. Locate the cable adjuster and loosen the adjuster lock nut (see page 105).
3. Turn the cable adjuster all the way in to provide maximum lever free
play.
4. Remove clutch lever pivot nut (1) and pivot screw (2).
5. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch lever.
6. Remove any old grease and dirt from the clutch lever, housing, and
bushing.
7. Lubricate the clutch lever, bushing, and pivot screw with VICTORY
Moly Assembly Grease (PN 2871460).
8. Reconnect the clutch cable and reinstall the lever and lever pivot screw.
9. Install plate and nut.
10. Hold pivot screw in place and torque nut to 52 in-lbs (6 Nm)
11. Adjust clutch lever freeplay (page105).
