Filter Systems (RANGER 2x4, 4x4, 6x6)

Breather Filter and Hoses

1. Lift the cargo box and locate

the airbox (1).

2. Follow the right-hand breather

line out the side of the airbox

and locate the filter (2).

3. Remove and inspect the filter

for debris. Blow gently through

the filter in the direction of the

arrow to check for clogging.

Replace as needed.

4. Check hoses for cracks,

deterioration, abrasion, or leaks.

Replace as needed.

5. Reinstall the filter with the arrow pointing toward the engine and

secure the clamps.

Fuel Filter

Your Polaris RANGER is equipped with an in-line fuel filter that

should be replaced by your dealer after every 100 hours of operation.
Do not attempt to clean the fuel filter.

Operation of the vehicle without a breather filter can cause

engine damage. Always reinstall the breather filter after

removing it for service.
