DesCriPtion
The Extron
PA 250 is a peaking amplifier capable of driving high resolution RGB video signals
350 feet (105 meters) or more. With an RGB video bandwidth of 250 MHz (-3dB), the PA 250
can be used in applications requiring long cable runs, where signal quality is a primary concern.
The PA 250 also features sync stripping, sync combining, level, and peaking, making it an ideal
all-in-one solution for most signal amplification needs.
The level adjustment allows for compensation of signal level loss that occurs over long cable
runs, while the peaking adjustment compensates for high frequency loss. The level and peaking
controls allow most common, high resolution computer-video signals (30-60 kHz) to travel up to
600 feet (185 meters). The PA 250 can also drive very high resolution computer-video signals
(60-100 kHz) up to 350 feet (105 meters) when using high quality cable such as Extron RG6.
