Cleaning the hand-pull lid:
Always clean the hand-pull lid thoroughly under running water after each time it is used to prevent growth of
bacteria and lack of hygiene.
To do so, open the hand-pull lid by introducing the end of the grip of a spoon in one of the longitudinal openings
on the side of the hand-pull lid and turning it carefully with slight pressure. When the hand-pull lid opens you
will hear a “cracking noise”. Repeat this process with each longitudinal opening at your hand-pull lid, until the
upper part has loosened completely itself from the lower part.
After washing and drying the interior sides of the upper and lower part of the lid reassemble the hand-pull lid.
Align the notches in the edge of the upper part of the lid at the lower part of the lid, so that each notch fi ts
around two protrusions at the lower part of the lid. Then press together the upper and lower part together until
you hear a “cracking noise” again. Please do not use pointed or sharp objects (e.g. knives, scissors or screwdri-
vers) to avoid damages at the hand-pull lid when opening.
Important: If the hand-pull cord should get caught, please interrupt using the appliance. Open and close the
hand-pull lid as described above.
Then the hand-pull cord can be used again and you can continue to process your ingredients.
Always clean the entire mini chopper set before using it for the fi rst time. Also clean the parts that you have
used thoroughly after every use. The mini chopper is easy to clean. All parts can either be washed under running
water or in the dishwasher.
Please note the following:
„ Clean the set parts by hand under running water or in the dish washer using conventional dish washer tabs
or liquid.
„
Do not use rough sponges or caustic cleaning agents.
„ To optimally clean the set, dismantle it into its individual parts before cleaning

„ Take particular care when cleaning the cutting inserts by hand. There is a high risk of injury due to the
sharpness of the blades!
„
Clean the appliance and accessories after each use to get rid of perishable food residue. Germ contami-
nation and a lack of hygiene are associated with serious health risks.
ATTENTION
INFORMATION Chopping hard, abrasive food items can result in a dulling of the collecting container
surfaces over time. This is normal and does not impair the appliance’s function.
