Replacing the blade

Always disconnect the power plug and check on the run-on display that the
motor is off before you inspect the blade.

CAUTION ! Remember that the blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds even after the
motor has been switched off. Never try to stop the blade. Make sure at regular intervals that
the blade is securely attached, in good condition and sharp. Sharpen or replacement as and
when necessary.
If the blade strikes an object while mowing, stop the lawnmower and wait until the blade has
come to a standstill. Then check the condition of the blade and the blade fixing screw. If these
have been damaged or loose, they must be replaced immediately.
Important: Wear safety gloves for this job
At the end of the season, perform a general inspection of your lawnmower and remove any
grass and dirt which may have accumulated.
At the start of each season, check the condition of the blade, the connection cable and all
electrical connections.
If repairs are necessary, please contact one of our customer service centers.
Use only original spare parts for maintenance work.

Storage:

Always clean your mower before storage. Store your mower in a clean, dry environment.
To avoid mould on remaining contents, make sure the grass collect bag is empty and dry.
You can fold the handle to save space, loosen the 2 clamps on each side of the handle and
bend the upper handle part towards the front of the machine.
Long time storage: apply some environmentally friendly oil on the mower blade to prevent it
from rusting.
Hibernation: have your blade sharpened after mowing season, so your machine is ready for
the new season.
