Step 1. Install the 18 Watt GU24 compact
fluorescent lamp (provided). (Fig. 18)
Step 2. Raise the glass shade against the light
fixture and turn clockwise until snug, DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN. (Fig. 18)
12. INSTALLING THE LAMP AND
GLASS SHADE
If you would like your fan installed without the
Light Fixture, Skip section 12 above and follow
this steps.
Do not install the CFL lamp and simply attach
the Metal replacement shade in stead of the
glass shade. (Fig. 19)
You should keep the glass shade and low
profile CFL Lamp for future use should you
later decide to utilize the light fixture.
