Make sure that the solar panel is free of dirt and free of snow
and ice in winter. Otherwise the performance of the solar pan-
el will diminish.

FIrE HAZArD! Batteries must not be short-circuited.
This can cause batteries to overheat, burn or burst.

EXPLOSIOn HAZArD! Never throw batteries
into fire or water.

Very old batteries can leak chemical fluids which damage the
product. You should therefore remove the battery if you do not
need the solar lamp for any length of time.

Only use the correct size and recommended type of recharge-
able batteries (see „Technical Data“).

Before assembly, check the quality of your walls. The dowels
are only appropriate for brick walls. If you are aiming to
amount the lamp on another wall, please consult a specialist.

AGE tO PrOPErtY! DAnGEr OF InjUrY! Ensure that
you do not strike electrical cables, gas or water pipes when
you are drilling into the wall. If necessary, check the wall using
a suitable detector before you drill.

Examine the wall before installation and choose suitable in-
stallation fixings. We have supplied fixings suitable for an or-
dinary solid masonry wall.
