You can use the e-mail function in your phone to send and receive
e-mail messages. Before using the e-mail program, make sure you
have created a data account, an e-mail account and set which e-mail
account to use. See “Setting up WAP and E-mail” on page 66.
Note:
You must have a subscription that supports data transmission.
The Send & Receive option in the E-mail menu offers the fastest way
for you to check for new e-mail messages and send e-mail messages
saved in your Outbox.
To write and send new e-mail messages
1.
Scroll to Messages,
Y ES
, E-mail,
Y ES
, Compose.
2.
Select To: and press
Y ES
. You can:
•
select Add name: and press
Y ES
. Enter a name and e-mail
address.
•
press
to enter the phone book and retrieve a saved
e-mail address.
3.
If you want to send a copy of the message to someone, select
Cc: and select the address as above.
4.
If you want to set a priority other than Normal to the message,
scroll to Priority,

. Select High or Low.
5.
Select Subject: and press
Y ES
. Enter a title and press
Y ES
.
This is mandatory.
6.
Select Text: and press
Y ES
. Enter your message and press
Y ES
.
7.
Select one of the following:
•
Send now
The message is sent at once.
•
Send now with attachment
The phone’s infrared port searches for an infrared camera in
order to load pictures as attachments. See “Attaching Pictures”
on page 78.
