The ASPECT function is very useful when setting up reception High Definition, Standard Definition and
NTSC signals
Aspect
Use CURSOR ̆ or ̄ to highlight the chosen Aspect Mode settings.
Press the SELECT button to select the Aspect Mode of choice.
4:3 Standard Use this Aspect Mode to display conventional (4:3) images.
16:9 Standard Use this Aspect Mode to display 16:9 sources like HDTV and DVD’s preserving the original 16:9 aspect ratio.
4:3 Zoom Use this Aspect Mode to zoom in on conventional (4:3) images.
16:9 Zoom Use this Aspect Mode to zoom in once while in 16:9 aspect.
1080i Real Use this Aspect Mode to allow 1080i signals to appear on the TV screen as the broadcaster sends them.
