Calibrating the printer
The printer automatically calibrates at the following times:
●
when the power is turned on,
●
every time 100 pages have printed,
●
after the printer has been inactive for four or more hours,
●
each time the print cartridge is changed.
You can also calibrate the printer manually when you are having color-related issues.
To calibrate the printer at the printer

Turn the printer off and then on again.
To calibrate the printer from the HP color LaserJet 1500 toolbox

Open the HP color LaserJet 1500 toolbox in one of these ways:
• On the desktop, double-click the HP color LaserJet 1500 toolbox icon.
• On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to HP color LaserJet 1500, and choose the
HP color LaserJet 1500 toolbox.

On the Troubleshooting tab, click Diagnostic Tools (on the left side of the screen).

Click Color Calibration.
