EXPLANATIONS OF PARTS

You can turn the power ON and OFF and adjust the sound level with the amplifier unit.
It is not designed to operate the portable audio unit connected to this accessory.

• Note that the volume should be set at an adequate level so you can still hear traffic

sounds. Setting the sound level too high may interfere with safe riding.

• Do not play the digital audio system with an extremely high volume because the sound

gets distorted.

• Do not bring a bank card, commuter ticket or other magnetic cards close to the speaker.

ADVICE

• The last volume setting is memorized by the amplifier unit after the main switch is

turned OFF.

• If the sound is still distorted even after turning down the amplifier volume, turn down the

volume on the portable audio unit.

• If the portable audio unit connected to the digital audio system is equipped with a bass

enhancement function, cancel it because this can distort the sound.

• You may hear “thumps” or “pops” when the power is turned ON or OFF.
