Media use

This product’s duplex feature (two-sided printing) and n-up printing (multiple pages printed on
one page) capabilities can reduce media usage and the resulting demands on natural resources.
(The duplex feature is available only for printers that include a built-in duplexer—
HP LaserJet 2300d printer, HP LaserJet 2300dn printer, and HP LaserJet 2300dtn printer.)

Plastics

Plastic parts over 25 grams are marked according to international standards that enhance the
ability to identify plastics for recycling purposes at the end of the product’s life.

HP LaserJet printing supplies

In many countries/regions, this product's printing supplies (for example, print cartridge and fuser)
can be returned to HP through the HP Printing Supplies Environmental Program. An easy-to-use
and free take back program is available in more than 48 countries/regions. Multilingual program
information and instructions are included in every new HP LaserJet print cartridge and supplies
package.

HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program information

Since 1990, the HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program has collected more than
47 million used LaserJet print cartridges that otherwise might have been discarded in the world's
landfills. The HP LaserJet print cartridges and supplies are collected and bulk shipped to our
