This manual describes how to use the hp scanjet 5590 digital flatbed scanner
and its accessories, resolve installation problems, and reach customer support.

Choose from the following three options when installing the scanner software.

HP Commercial
Scanjet 5590
TWAIN
• Requires 20 MB of disk space
• Can be used with document management or customized
business software
• Offers TWAIN contrast and brightness capabilities
• Offers improved two-sided scanning performance
• Does not offer front panel scanner button functionality
• Cannot scan slides and negatives
