TILLER ADJUSTMENTS REAR SHIELD ADJUSTMENT
The rear shield can be adjusted to control the soil
DEPTH ADJUSTMENT tilth. The finest tilth (consistency) is achieved with
the shield in the lowest position. That position is
a) Position the tiller skids (one on each the
desired tilling depth. weeds, fertilizer, etc. The higher the shield is
positioned, the more course the finished results.
b) adjust, raise the tiller o f f the ground and block
it securely in position. Loosen the skid pivot bolt. soil. hook chain
c) Remove the adjusting bolt. Pivot the skid to the
desired depth position hole, reinstall the
adjusting bolt and tighten securely. Retighten
the pivot bolt.
Never o p e r a t e t h e tiller
without the shield installed. Objects may be
thrown from the tiller causing Injury

property damage.
