during this entire procedure,
including when the ram is
withdrawing to the original

splitting area. When wood is
being split, projectiles can fly
in any direction.
After the log is split, move the lever 7.

Use the chains to secure the Log
Splitter to the towing vehicle. The
hitch coupler must be properly se-
cured to the hitch ball of the towing
vehicle. After attachment, pull up
on the hitch coupler to make sure
that the hitch ball fits snugly on the
hitch coupler. There can be no play
between the hitch ball and the hitch
coupler. Follow all safety warnings
in the manufacturer vehicle’s owners
manual.
