Clean the spark arrester as follows:
If the generator has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Allow it
to cool before proceeding.
The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to maintain its
efficiency.
Remove the three 6 mm bolts, and remove the muffler, the spark
arrester and the muffler gasket.
Remove the four 6 mm screws, and remove the muffler protector. 1.
