The actual distance is less than appears in the monitor. The range of the image is limited. The warning tone is not designed to indicate a set distance and may be misleading. The actual distance may be less than the last time it was used due to weather conditions or obstruction by dirt. The range of the sensor is limited. Be aware of blind spots since all models of vehicles are shaped differently.
