Display

This phone features a Liquid Crystal Display that shows the following information:
• Clock
• Phone numbers dialed and memory contents
• AM PM Icons
• CONF (Conference) Icon

Adjusting the Display Contrast

1. Press the STORE button to enter the store mode.
2. Press the VOLUME ^ to increase the contrast by one step, or press the VOLUME v to

decrease the contrast by one step.

NOTE: Once you reach the maximum or minimum contrast level,

the unit generates an error tone.

3. Press the STORE button again to confirm setting. If no key is pressed within 15

seconds, the unit automatically exits the display contrast setting mode.

Making a Call

Using the Handset

1. Pick up the handset and the phone will select an open line.
2. Wait for a dial tone then dial a phone number.
3. Hang up the handset when finished.

Using the Speakerphone

1. Press the SPEAKER button and the phone will select an open line.
2. Wait for a dial tone then dial a phone number.
3. Press SPEAKER when finished.

NOTE: When you are using the phone on one line and another

call comes in on another line, you will hear an incoming call tone

(two beeps for three ring cycles) through the handset receiver,

speakerphone, or headset. If you don’t want to hear the call tone,

you may turn it off. See Setting the Incoming Call Tone for details.
