v-belt tension &

replacement

V-Belts stretch and wear with use, so check the
tension on a monthly basis to ensure optimal
power transmission. replace the V-belts if they
become cracked, frayed, or glazed.

on the Model g0602, the

low range V-belt ten-

sion is controlled by a tensioner between the
secondary drive pulley (B) and spindle (C) pulley.
the

high range V-belt between the spindle (C)

and motor (A) pulleys is tensioned by the motor.

on the Model g0752, V-belt tension is controlled
by a tensioner between the spindle and motor
pulleys.
