Check the inlet pressure to the gas vaIve. Is it between minimum and maximum for the gas type? Adjust supply gas pressure. Restart troubleshooting.
Check the manifold gas pressure during start up. Is it zero inches? Replace gas valve After an initial step opening is the manifold gas pressure correct? Adjust manifold gas pressure. Restart troubleshooting.
Check electrode spark gap. Is it 1/8”? Adjust spark gap carefully

for spark. Is there a spark to the throat o the burnercup? Call Space-Ray for assistance.
Is there a spark to the side of the burner cup?
Remove spark electrode and inspect, is the ceramic cracked or loose? Replace electrode
Remove burner casting and check the orifice. Is it clean and free from blockage? Remove blockage. Restart troubleshooting
Are the terminals tight on the electrode and igntion module?
Check the terminal at the electrode does it arc to the burner casting?
Remove and re-insert electrode. If it still sparks to the side. Replace electrode.
Carefully bend the terminal away from the casting. Restart troubleshooting.
Replace ignition cable. If problems persist call Space-Ray for assistance.
Replace ignition module. Is the LED on the ignition module steady on?
Check nameplate are the gas type, orifice and airplates correct for the stated burner specification?
Call Space-Ray for replacement parts.
Has all the air been purged from the gas supply lines? Purge the gas supply lines?
tighten terminals. Restart troubleshooting
