Before using for the first time
^ Clean the inside of the appliance and
the accessories with a mild solution
of warm water and liquid dish soap.
Dry with a soft cloth.
After installing the unit, wait at least
30 minutes before switching it on.
During transport, the fluids in the
refrigeration system may have
shifted, and will need some time to
settle.
Turning the appliance on
^ Open the appliance door.
^ Press the On/Off button so that the
control panel lights up.
Once on, the alarm will sound and the
appliance will start to cool down. When
the doors are open, the interior lights
come on.
Turning the appliance off
^ Press the On/Off button until the
control panel go out.
The cooling system turns off.
If this does not happen, the safety
lock is still activated, see "Safety
Lock".
Turning off for longer periods
of time
If the appliance is not going to be used
for a longer period of time (for example,
during a vacation) some precautions
should be taken.
^ Turn the appliance off at the main
switch.
^ Unplug the appliance.
^ Clean the interior.
^ Leave the doors open to prevent
odors.
