Locking and Unlocking a Site
This feature allows your radio to lock onto a specific site and not
roam among wide-area talkgroup sites. This feature should be
used with caution, since it inhibits roaming to another site in a
wide-area system.
Procedure:
Use the programmed Site Lock/Unlock button to toggle the
lock state between locked and unlocked.

to select.

You see Turn On if the site is currently in unlocked state.
OR
You see Turn Off if the site is currently in locked state.

to select.

The display shows Site Locked.

The display shows Site Unlocked.

The radio saves the new site lock state and returns to the
Home screen.
Viewing and Changing a Site
This feature allows you to view the number of the current site or
force your radio to change to a new one.

Procedure:
1
Press the programmed Site Display button (it could be
short press or long press based on the configuration of the
programmable button).

The display momentarily shows the name of the current site
and its corresponding received signal strength indicator
(RSSI).
