Display Icons
Signal icon
Disappear if the handset moves out of
communication range with the base.
Key lock icon Keypad lock is active.
Line in use icon Indicates that the line is in use.
Alarm icon Alarm is set.
Ring icon External ring volume is set to on.
Battery icon Shows the battery charge level.
No ring icon External ring volume is set to off.
No Line icon Base not connected with PSTN.
Mic mute icon Microphone is muted.
Message waiting icon Indicates that there is message waiting.
Menu Icons
Phonebook icon Phonebook in use.
Call log icon Call log in use.
Timer icon Time being set.
Handset settings icon Used to access handset settings.
Base settings icon
Used to access base settings.
Function icon Used to indicate other available functions.
Display Backlight
The backlight on your handset display comes on when any key is pressed. The light
remains on for 15 seconds after the last button press if you selected ‘power save
mode’ or for 30 seconds if you selected ‘extended mode’. The backlight also comes
on when you receive an incoming call (and goes out 3 seconds after the call ends)
and when the alarm time is up (the light comes on for 5 seconds).
