Problem Possible cause Remedy
There is a knocking
noise in the pipes.
This may be from the in-
stallation or the cross
section of piping. This has no affect on the
dishwasher. If in doubt
contact a plumber.
Dishes and cutlery are
not dry or are flecked.
The rinse aid setting may
not be high enough or the
rinse aid reservoir is
empty. Increase the dosage or
refill the reservoir, see
“Before using for the first
time”.
The water hardness level
selector in the wash cabi-
net is set too high. Set the selector to a lower
setting, see “Pro-
gramming and setting the
water hardness level.”
Dishes were unloaded too
soon. Leave dishes in for lon-
ger, see “Operating the
dishwasher”.
Dishes are not cleaned
The dishes were not
loaded correctly. Dishes
were placed inside other
pieces, water could not
reach all surfaces. See “Loading the dish-
washer”.
The outlet of the water
feed tube for the middle
spray arm was covered.
Not enough water flowed
in to the middle arm. Make sure that dishes
loaded in the rear of the
upper basket do not
cover pipe outlet.
The program was not
powerful enough. Select a more intensive
program, see “Program
Chart”.
Not enough detergent
was dispensed. Use more detergent, see
“Operating the dish-
washer“.
The spray arms are
blocked. Rearrange items so that
spray arms can rotate
freely.
